Baby-Daddy Blog (BDB)

Most folks are aware of my propensity to quickly embrace and adopt bleeding-edge
technology so I've decided to take my first foray into the "blogosphere" with
this inaugural entry into Tom Reilly's Baby-Daddy Blog (BDB). Anticipating the
large number of visitors and resulting "page views," I've installed a "hit
counter" and alerted our "ISP" of potential increases in "server" activity.
Well, this is not about me, but about our impending bundle of joy expected to arrive any day now. According to Meredith, our very-soon-to-be-three-and-a-half-year-old-big-sister, "Little Webby" (Meredith's name for the baby while it's in mommy's tummy) is coming on January 5; however, according to mommy, the baby's coming as absolutely freakin' soon as absolutely freakin' possible!
Speaking of names, we held our first official session of the baby name game last night. After a few rounds of debate, we narrowed boy names down to two, but are nowhere close on girl names. Fortunately, if we get stuck in a pinch come game time, Meredith has provided the following "chuchestions:" Polly, Elmo, Angelina Ballerina, Pocohantas, Mrs. Mousling, Mr. Mousling and Leah. Leah actually came out for the first time last night and has been accepted by mommy and daddy and officially added to the list. Sorry, the official list will be carefully sequestered until kickoff.
These are just my wandering thoughts as I lay in bed on a lazy Saturday morning waiting for the stork to come. This "blog" starts off with my best intentions and we'll see where it goes from here. Until next time...
